Holt music festival actually makes my life a million times better. Actually spending time with people that you love to pieces, who you know incredibly well and have known for a very long time is just superrrrrr! No arguments or two faced bitchiness, or people thinking that they are better than everyone else, just a group of close friends who get on extremely well.
After repeatedly dancing and singing opera for nearly six hours and then travelling a total of five hours in a hot stuffy car in 28 degrees of heat in a minibus with windows that don't work and air con that's completely broken, a bus driver who stunk the bus out with smoke and radio four, I was in fact, in desperate need for a drink. So we started the evening by going to a field planning to get incredibly drunk - but unfortunately, as always we were drunk by about 9 o'clock and completely sober by 11. Typical that is. But we laughed and danced and just had such a good night, spent the evening with guys that I haven't spoke to in years, and that was just absolutely lovely. After my last bit of alcohol was stolen (grr) we left and all went to the pub, good old Ham Tree, and chilled in there for a while, and then after rounds of table dancing and screaming 'jimmy newtron' we were kicked out as the pub closed and went to sit on the historical holt ham green bench for abit and then we walked home with Ed, Rhys, Ellie and 'Olly Wood'. Not his real name, but it's still an incred name. Got back to Hannah's and chilled. And slept. Yum, sleep.
Han, Lyd, Ott, Edie, Katie, Sarah, Mia, Shannon & Lauren you're stars. <3
